“NPG supports the City of Vancouver and we are pleased to advance our position in this iconic development. Our investment in this project represents a thoughtful approach to the community as well as the integration of architecture and purposeful use elements. This will bring vitality to the neighborhood while addressing Vancouver’s critical needs for quality rental housing and premium hotel accommodations,” said Gino Nonni, CEO. “This excellent mixed-use development marks our strategic expansion into the hospitality sector while strengthening our position in purpose-built rental properties, advancing our commitment to developing and managing exceptional income-producing assets.”

VANCOUVER, B.C. February 20, 2025 – Vancouver based Nonni Property Group (NPG) plans an iconic 30-storey mixed-use tower in Vancouver’s vibrant Yaletown neighbourhood. The development will feature market leading rental residential units, state-of-the-art office space, and a bespoke 225+ room Marriott Autograph Collection hotel under Marriott International’s Autograph Collection brand.

Strategically located at 888-896 Cambie Street at the intersection of Cambie and Smithe, the development will be moments away from Vancouver’s premier entertainment venues, including BC Place Stadium and Rogers Arena. The architectural vision, crafted by NPG and McKinley Studios, promises to transform the location and streetscape with its innovative west coast design, premium materials, and welcoming public spaces. A highlight of the development will be its upscale 5-star restaurant and bar, designed to energize Vancouver’s entertainment scene and align with the Mayor’s initiative to make the City fun again.

“As Vancouver continues to welcome the world, new hotel developments are essential to support our growing $8.5B visitor economy, create jobs, and strengthen our accommodations offering. Investing in hospitality infrastructure ensures we remain a competitive world-class destination while delivering lasting benefits to our community and businesses alike.” Royce Chwin, President and CEO of Destination Vancouver.

“As Vancouver continues to grow as a world-class city, with exciting milestones like the 2026 FIFA World Cup on the horizon, it’s clear that we need to expand our hospitality infrastructure,” says Jane Talbot, President and CEO of Downtown Van. “More hotels are essential to meet the demand of the thousands of visitors who will arrive here for major events and tourism. By investing in more rooms and accommodations, we’re ensuring that Vancouver remains a welcoming, accessible destination, while bolstering the local economy.”

As part of the development, NPG has secured a 25-year franchise agreement with

Marriott International for an Autograph Collection Hotel, which will be managed by the leading industry management company Hotel Equities. Part of the award-winning Marriott Bonvoy® travel program, Autograph Collection Hotels are known for their distinct perspectives on design and hospitality — with no two properties looking the same — and the hotel’s design will incorporate elements that celebrate Yaletown’s character and Vancouver’s unique identity.

“Marriott is thrilled to collaborate with NPG and mindfully grow our portfolio in the

important and dynamic market of Vancouver,” said Paul Cahill, Chief Operating Officer, Canada, Marriott International. “We believe that developments like this Autograph Collection hotel are important to fulfilling a currently under-served travel demand in the area, and we look forward to working with NPG to welcome guests to the property.”

The development is currently pending approval from the City of Vancouver.
